Progress for Boro

Hello.
I listed a work dress on Etsy store.
Please check it!

This is French work wear for women.
This dress is chambray cotton, very soft and not heavy.
Also this dress can be worn like a coat.
There are many repaired spots, because made in 1950's.
But it's "aging", "rustic" and "beautiful". I like this.

I worked till late night yesterday,
and it has become quite a better.

It is much better than when it was posted before.

Almost 80%, I think.
I covered everything with Japanese Boro,
In order this fabric does not get frayed,
I sew more by Sashiko thread.

I basically use  Sashiko threads of black or white .
Because I don't want making the thread stand out in color,
and people in old times used only black or white thread in many cases.
I guess that they didn't have thread of many color.

Black color becomes gray by aging,
white becomes beige by dirty.
I want to express the change of color by aging.

The remaining 20%?
I will sew it many many many by Sashiko,
and I wash it.
I will sell it when it does not get fraying, maybe next week?

Thank you!
