ABOUT SASAKI-JIRUSHI BY MITSUGU

今年、ショップを再開してから一ヶ月以上経ちました。
そして商品を更新を毎日とはいきませんが、日々アップしています。
そして、お気づきかと思いますが、
先月の16日からずーっと「佐々木印」のみをアップし続けております。
ここまで私も「佐々木印」を掲載できるとは思っていませんでしたが、
一昨年の10月、息子が入院して妻が戦線離脱して以来、
私はとてもたくさん考えました。

It has been a month since our online store was reopened.
I couldn't list item on Etsy everyday but I am doing my best.
And you know about I have been listing only SASAKI-JIRUSHI from 16th last month.
I couldn't believe that I could list only my works.
I was thinking everything for our store since 2 years before, when my son was hospitalized and my wife stopped making her works.

以前の佐々木洋品店は世界中の古着があり、妻が作る「佐々木印」があり、
私の作る「佐々木印」が少しありました。
メインになっていたのは妻の作品と古着でしたが、妻が制作できないとなったときに、
ネットショップに掲載できるのは古着と私の作品のみ。
こうなったとき、私の制作スピードは遅く、ネットショップには古着のみがたくさん並びました。
これを見て「これじゃあ普通の古着屋さんだね」と妻に言われました。
古着屋さんをディスってることは全くありませんが、
私たちは私たちにしか出来ないお店を目指していたので、
それが出来ないことにとても悔しさが込み上げてきました。

Before 2 years, SASAKI-YOHINTEN sold vintage clothes of worldwide, SASAKI-JIRUSHI made by my wife and a few SASAKI-JIRUSHI made by me.
Almost item are her works and vintage clothes of worldwide.
But since she stopped making her works, SASAKI-YOHINTEN's item were vintage clothes and a little my works.
And then my production speed was very slow, so I couldn't list various item, I could list only vintage clothes.
When she saw this web store, she said " This is not SASAKI-YOHINTEN. This is vintage clothes store. "
There are many common vintage clothes store.
Our store want to become only one store in the world.
I feel frustrating that I couldn't do that.

そう思ったときに私は「自分自身のブランド力を高めなければ。自分自身の作品をもっと示さなくては！」と考えました。
そして私に何ができるか？を考え抜き、やはり一番最初からやり続けてきた
「ビンテージリメイクシリーズ」と「スーパーボロボロシリーズ」しかないと
考え、今とにかく作品を生み出すことに没頭しております。

And then I was thinking about this problem, and I came up.
"I have to be one artist in the world. I have to make a lot of works."
And then I am making my works, "Vintage-Remake series" and "SUPER BORO BORO series".
Anyway I am thinking only my works everyday.

本当はフランスで買い付けてきた布もいろいろ使いたいんですが、
今はその余裕がありません。
新しいものを始めると、必ず時間がかかってしまいます。
今の私は時間がなく、今年の春、妻が復帰するまで一人で踏ん張る必要があります。
それまで佐々木洋品店を持ち堪えるためにも、今は私の作品をとにかく作り貯めて置く必要があると思いました。

I want to use various fabric, for example French antique fabric when I bought last year from France.
When I make something new, it takes a lot of time.
I don't have time now.
So I will use various fabric when my wife will come back next spring.
I will do my best until then.
