こんな事がありました。
以前購入していただいたヨーロッパのお客様。
そのお客様はSNS上で
購入していただいた商品を着てシェアしてくれたりしてました。
ちょっとした友達のような感覚になっていました。

I received DM on SNS from European customer who have been bought my product before.
He is very kind and he wore the purchased item and shared it on SNS.
I felt like a friend.
そんな彼から
『日本のブランドで欲しいものがあるけど、買い方が分からない』
と連絡が来た。
私は『どのブランド？買い方を検索してあげるよ』と答えた。
そのブランドは日本を代表する二つのブランドだった。（ここではどのブランドかは伏せておきます）
私はもちろん海外発送をやっているものだと思った、それが当たり前と思っていたし、こだわりのあるブランドだったら海外に広めたくなるだろうと思っていた。

そしてそのブランドのホームページで海外発送出来るかどうかを調べると、こんな一文があった。

日本語では日本在住のお客様のみ発送します。
との事。
But....
They said,

なぜ海外に発送出来ない！？
いろいろなテクノロジーの進化で日本と世界はとても近くなっているのに、なぜやらない？
海外発送が面倒くさいのか？
海外からの返品リスクが怖いのか？
Why???

私は失望して、この事をイタリアのお客様に伝えた。
すると彼もまた残念がり、かわりに私に買って発送してくれと頼まれた。
それについて私は断った。
私はそのブランドの発送代行業者でもないし、
そのブランドが大好きで世界に広めたいわけでもないし、
その時間を使うなら自分自身の作品に使いたいと思った。
そして1日も早く佐々木洋品店を再開させ、世界中に広めたいと思った。
おそらく彼はこの２つのブランドとそして私に対して、
もしかすると日本人に対して、失望してしまったかもしれない。

私が挽回できる事は、
早く再開して、
早く作品をたくさんの人に届けて、
そしてたくさんの方に満足してもらう事しかない。

I want to fix for the mind asap.
For that I reopen our store early, I make my product,
and I spread Japanese culture to world asap.
