Black Chambray coat/黒シャンブレーコート

こんにちは。
今日掲載したのは「佐々木印」のビンテージリメイクパッチワークコートです。

Hello.
Today, I listed a Patchwork coat , made by SASAKI-JIRUSHI .

このパッチワークコートはブラックシャンブレーの生地が使われている
アトリエコートと呼ばれるワークウェアです。

Fabric of patchwork coat is black chambray cotton.
This coat calls " Atelier coat" .

フランスの美術学校や画家が着ていたと言われているので
ペンキや絵の具の汚れなどが多くあります。
このコートも白のペンキ汚れが目立ちますので、
美術学校の人だったのか、ペンキ職人の方だったのか。

The atelier coat worn student of art school, artist, painter and worker.
So the atelier coat often has painted stains.
This coat has many white painted stain,
perhaps this coat worn student of art school ?
Or worker of painter ? I am not sure now.

ちなみに、このボディを作ったメーカーは「VETRA」と言う
フランスの老舗メーカーが作ったものです。

By the way, this coat was made by VETRA.
VETRA has long history.
I will write about VETRA's history some day.

ちなみにいつも私がブラックシャンブレーでパッチワークをするときは
基本的には黒地の当て布を使用することが多いです。

Always I use black color of fabric when I make patchwork coat by black chambray.

例えば

こういう感じでブラックシャンブレーには黒の相性がいいので
いつも２トーンにして作っていました。
ただ今回は

The black chambray and black color is very compatible.
But this time,,,

なぜかというと、
I used color of blue.

ここの襟部分がすでに青で作られていたんです。
ブラックシャンブレーの生地で、襟が青ってかなり珍しい色の組み合わせですね！
なので、私の推測ですが会社のユニホームとかでオーダーでVETRA社が
作ったものだったのかもしれませんね。
ということで、襟部分と袖部分はすでに青の切り替えをされていたので、
ここで黒地を使うと色合いがグチャグチャになっちゃうんじゃないかと思い、
ブルー系の当て布をしてみました。

The collar was already made of blue.
It's very rare color combination of black chambray and blue.
So I guess that some company ordered to VETRA what the company's uniform in 1950's .
So the collar and cuffs of this coat are blue,
I used blue about patching fabric.
If I used black, the combination of colors might have been no good , I guess.
