About Made to order / セミオーダーについて

現在セミオーダーの製作に励んでおります。

セミオーダーとはお客様のサイズを聞き、パッチワークのデザインのリクエストを聞き、製作するものです。

Hello.

I am making clothes of made to order for crowdfunding supporters.

I ask them about size, design, layout, and more, and then I start making it.

以前からたまに『オーダーして』というリクエストをいただいておりましたが、私のビンテージリメイクシリーズとスーパーボロボロシリーズでは全てお断りしておりました。
とても嬉しい事なんですが、なぜお断りせざるを得ないかというと、私たちが製作しているモノは全て一点ものだからなのです。

Sometimes, I was requested from customers about “Can I offer made to order?” .

But I declined everything offer of made to order in my works.

I am glad to hear that offer to me.

But I can’t make works of made to order, because we are using old material.

無責任にオーダーを承ってしまうと、『材料がない』という状況になります。

そしてその材料がいつ手に入るのかは私達も分かりません。

古着、古布は見つかる時は簡単ですが、見つからない時はとことん見つかりません。

If I always accept made to order from customer,  and if I don’t have old fabric for making it, I can’t make it long time.

And I am not sure when I can get old fabric for it.

お客様に何ヶ月何年とお待たせさせるわけにもいかないので、ここは心を鬼にしてオーダー注文をお断りしてました。

（お高く止まっていたわけではありませんので笑）

So I always don’t accept made to order for customer. I don't want customers to wait long time.

ただクラウドファンディングのご支援の場合だけは別です。

リターンに『パッチワークジャケットのセミオーダー権　限定2名』と『スーパーボロボロジャケットのオーダー　限定1名』と合計3枚のボディとなるジャケットが必要です。

この場合は3枚のワークジャケットで、それぞれのサイズを探してくる事は難しくはありません。なぜならフランスに行き何千枚というジャケットを見ることになるので、3枚という数であれば確実に買えるでしょう。

とはいえ、なんだかんだサイズと色合いにおいて今回も探すのは大変でなかなか見つかりませんでした。

But I can accept made to order when I do project of crowdfunding.

The crowdfunding last time, I set the perks about “Made to order of Patchwork jacket, only 2 people” and “Made to order of SUPER BORO BORO Jacket, only 1” .

In this case, it is not difficult that I find 3 work jackets from France.

Because I check thousands of jackets in France.

So I can find only 3 jackets only thousands.

Having said that, it was difficult that I found 3 jackets of different size and color in this trip.

ただクラウドファンディングの企画を新しく立ち上げる時はまた是非このオーダーのリターンを作りたいと思いますので、その時は宜しくお願い致します。

Anyway, I will do project of crowdfunding next time, next year I think.

And I will set the perk of made to order.
